balqis

terms of service

last updated: 2026-10-24

these terms are the rules for using the discord bot balqis and its website. by adding balqis to a server or using it, you agree to them. in these terms "balqis" means the bot and the people who run it.

discord's rules come first

you must follow discord's terms of service and community guidelines when you use balqis. you must be old enough to use discord in your country.

server owners and staff

  • server owners and their staff decide how balqis is used in their server: who may use which command, what is logged, and what is posted.
  • they are responsible for their moderation decisions (warns, bans, jails and so on) and for telling their members how they use balqis.
  • they must not use balqis to harass people, to break discord's rules, or to collect data they have no reason to keep.

the shop

  • balqis helps sellers run stores inside discord: products, orders, receipts and vouches.
  • balqis never handles money. buyers and sellers pay each other outside balqis, with the payment methods the seller names. balqis is not part of any sale, does not check payments, and cannot give money back.
  • sellers are responsible for what they sell, their prices, their delivery and their refunds, and for following the law and discord's rules.
  • a receipt or a vouch made by balqis shows what was recorded in balqis. it is not a legal invoice or a guarantee.

things you must not do

  • use balqis to spam, scam, harass or hurt anyone.
  • try to break, overload or get around balqis (for example its limits, its access rules or its scam guard).
  • copy balqis' look or name to pretend to be balqis.

balqis may stop working for a server or a person that does these things, without a warning.

free and premium

balqis is free today. later, premium may give a server bigger limits and a few extras; the free and premium page on the website shows what is free. if premium starts, its price and rules will be shown before anyone pays.

no promises

  • balqis is made with care, but it is given "as it is". it may have bugs, be offline for a while, or change.
  • balqis makes a daily backup, but it cannot promise that no data is ever lost.
  • as far as the law allows, balqis is not responsible for any loss caused by using balqis, by a server's moderation, or by a sale between a buyer and a seller.

changes and ending

  • balqis may change these terms. the date at the top shows the last change, and big changes are posted in the support server.
  • balqis may add, change or remove features, or stop the bot.
  • you can stop using balqis at any time. a server owner can remove balqis from their server at any time.

privacy

what balqis keeps and why is explained in the privacy policy.
